DeKalb Families in Action is a local family-run organization linked to more than 120 chapters and state-wide organizations. DFIA was established in May 2012 in Decatur, Georgia. DFIA provides community resources and access to workshops, trainings and conferences to engage educate and empower youth and families in successfully navigating through multiple systems using the System of Care philosophy which involves collaboration across agencies, being family-driven, youth guided, culturally competent; community-engaged and evidence-based.

Apex is a program under Viewpoint Health that provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy and case management at designated schools.
The program provides prevention, education, and early intervention services at school, including but not limited to faculty consultations, student services team staffings, support groups for students, parent education, and in-service training.
Therapists coordinate treatment with the students, their families, teachers, and other support resources (e.g. probation officer, student support teams, natural supports, physicians, and student support professionals).
Apex is available in Gwinnett, Rockdale, and Newton Counties.
